For all who had heaved a sigh of relief at not having to deal with any more disturbing incidents of harassment in face-to-face work environments, the unfortunate development of virtual villains in the New Normal has come as a rude shock. Even the International Labor Organization (ILO) has taken notice and come up with its first international treaty to address harassment labor issues post the COVID pandemic.
Even the Harvard Business Review has stressed on the importance of empathy at the workplace during these times, while eLearning industry leaders such as Elliott Massie continue to hold Empathy concerts to spread some positivity in this scenario.
