Mozilla’s Firefox is a preferred web browser for many. What makes Firefox different from other browsers is it being open source and highly customizable using Firefox add-ons. We have found several of these add-ons to be really helpful in the eLearning development. There are more than 5000 add-ons available for download.

Everyone could build a repository with free eLearning tools, but she did it by distilling the top 100 tools that were provided to her by expert eLearning colleagues from all around the world.

Skip Via , an Instructional Technology professor at the University of Alaska, has createda nice 5 minute video that thoroughly explains the purpose of a PLN, what a PLN is, and he outlines exactly the tools he uses to make his PLN. set it as my Firefox homepage; therefore, I have one stop shopping of all my news everytime I open up Forefox.
