I’ve been working with Steve Wexler and the eLearningGuild on the eLearning 2.0 What somewhat surprised me is how much other sites are being blocked: Twitter 11.5% But most surprising - LinkedIn being blocked by 7.9%. Of course, if it were me, I would absolutely open up access to LinkedIn. Tools Used in corporations.

Some interesting data points are coming out of the study.

Certainly, the conversations and the finding of expertise via social networks such as LinkedIn is a big part of their use. Is it advantageous to you or just 'techno-fluff'?

How Research is Conducted So let's start with how Bersin and the eLearningGuild gather their data. The eLearningGuild asks industry experts to formulate survey questions that are then sent to their members. So the eLearningGuild gets surveys based on asking a large audience and receiving somewhat random inputs based on who responds.
