Looking ‘Under the Hood’ of MOOCs

Generally speaking, a cobbled up MOOC using freeware is not going to ‘cut it’ because it wastes student time and looks unloved. I don’t have expertise advising large educational institutions. As a colleague recently pointed out to me, 20 hours of the same teacher delivering content via video is boring. Simplicity is about ease of use.
