I like using the PowerPoint backgrounds in my Cp projects. I don’t need the PowerPoint master slides, just the background image. Importing that PowerPoint background into my Captivate master slide applies the background to my title, content, quizzing, and all the other slides in the master slide series.

She wanted to know some best practices for reducing the size of exported Camtasia projects. To begin, TechSmith says that "larger videos (in resolution) will dramatically increase file size. Limit your video size to no larger than 1280 pixels (width) by 720 (height)." That is an excellent question!

In PowerPoint there is a specific view called Handouts which allows you to print multiple slides on one page. PowerPoint handouts allow you to print multiple pages on one page. Keep file sizes relatively small. Be mindful of how many images you use and their sizes. Large images take longer to load and should only be used if they are actually enhancing the information you are presenting. Not only does audio make file sizes larger, but it will often be a wasted addition.

If you don't have compelling images or creative editing skills then simply stick with audio. Video makes for a HUGE file size even if it is streaming, so make it worth the wait. Likewise with video.
