Around 3 in the night, I woke up to flashes of blinding lightning and an incessant sound of thunder. The zig-zagging, near blinding flashes would light up the entire scene for long seconds to be followed by ominously loud crashes of thunder. That night was an experience I will not forget soon. Honest-to-god anger shows us the truth in a blinding flash. I always felt that anger distorts perception, is illogical, and indicates a lack of control over the self. Today I realized that anger clears away the clutter of “logic”! Often, our logical, conscious mind conditioned on “should do” and “control is good” deceives us.
