When I look at my particular skills, methods and tools for 2009 and compare them to 2008, I would say that it’s mostly a question of degree of use and certainly my use of Twitter has grown. Credit where credit is due, a great deal of this increase in awareness has come through my use of Twitter (especially #lrnchat ) and through a number of online social networks, such as Seth Godin's Triiibes , LearnTrends , Problogger and LinkedIn groups. Most importantly however it worked because it was social.
