PBWiki Image Overlay - Yuck

Tony Karrer

I just took a look at my blog and wow, all of my images that I've been keeping on PBWiki for use on my personal Wiki and for use on my blog have randomly started having an image overlayed on top of my images with their logo. You can see two examples below that I've saved from PBWiki and then uploaded to blogger.

No More Little Sandwiches

Tony Karrer

At the start of the week, I found PBWiki Putting Image Over My Images - at least they were cute little sandwiches. I had spoken to the Founder of PBWiki in the past and had very nice conversations. Sorry, David and the PBWiki team. I assumed that didn't mean any changes as I pretty much only use the basics on PBWiki.

Having used surveymonkey, blogger, pbwiki and other tools quite a bit - it's even better than open source and even less expensive (open source you need time/dollars to get it up and going).

Remote Collaboration

Tony Karrer

A few starting points: Adobe Connect Now - free online meetings for up to three people. DimDim - Still a little rough around the edges, but a great, free tool. I recommend pbWiki as an easy to use Wiki solution. Real-time Screen Sharing Again, same caveat - lots of great tools that provide screen sharing.
