I’ve always found this product to be the top of the line for PowerPoint to Flash course builds. Their video encode program is lackluster, you are better off using Audacity – which is free. It reminds them of templates, and speaking of which. Templates – trend. Articulate. Adobe Captivate.

Think of a “book” or “summary” if you will, that is a template. You can screen capture any graph in the data results, and place it into the template in various areas. You can publish the guidebooks to other formats, including directly into PowerPoint, with a click. Unlimited usage if you will.

Of course the “we have to sell everything” is often a ruse, so is this pitch. Regardless, if you are not upgrading its not cheap.

I suspect some vendors might tie it together in some pricing approach, giving an appearance that it is free. . Actually it was more of Dreamweaver that came with templates (at least IMO). It was and still is a PowerPoint converter with feature sets. Then Articulate Studio appeared. But it is easy to use.

Templates rule! I am not a fan of templates. I’ve seen game templates that would have rocked during Commodore days or SNES, but not today. Interactive in templates is questionable. So why do folks love course templates? And usually they are online and free for anyone. . But there are vendors who do.
