Well I have just found some really useful guides from JISC and can recommend them as a source of reference. That said there is the whole area, and I am not sure upon reflection that I give it the attention it deserves of accessibility. please feel free to comment

Well to help with all this I came across a great free book, The Complete Guide to Google Wave actually you can buy the book but the net version of it is free and very nicely presented and readable. For sure there is going to be a lot of new stuff here, not to mention the terminology like waves, wavelets, blips etc.

All the users now have a login and click-n-go guide for the summer holiday. Ran out of time and could not cover glossaries, but this will be a good test for the guide. Started the Moodle staff training this morning and after a few network problems the course went well. Have setup a Moodle training forum.

The themes features are free and cover a wide range of curriculum area defaults, and when it comes to installing the theme, there are short video tutorials that will guide through the process. If you are feeling really creative then Themato Web Moodle Theme Engine may well be the solution.
