Now a few of Karl Kapps students "(Nicole Clark, Heather Gee, Aaron Kennelly and David Robbins) have created a fun little assessment tool called Gamer Rater that helps you determine what level of gamer you are according to Games, Gadgets and Gizmos for Learning. Im so pleased.

Her statement is in keeping with traditional instructional design theory that says that learning objectives help learners organize their learning efforts. I want to clarify that Im not advocating that we "hide" objectives from the learner, but instead provide some alternatives to boring text bullets in the presentation of those objectives.
