At the CLO Symposium, Karie Willyerd showed samples of how Sun Microsystems is preparing to greet the workforce of 2020. Sun is constructing a platform that makes the nuggets available; you can mine for them however you choose. In a knowledge society, work and learning are the same thing. That’s no longer the case.

It allows a worker to get help on particular concept work tasks by crowdsourcing in the small - tapping into the social grid for assistance. The methods and norms for tapping into the social grid are often not well understood by concept workers.
