I’ve seen that in courses and in design specs many times, and it’s a HORRIBLE IDEA. I’ve not done this as much, but having in a way for people to setup rewards and punishments for accomplishing their plans and goals is a great idea. Yes, I’m yelling – it’s really that bad. Speakers on a common topic should get to know one another and swap ideas on their approach in advance of the session. Interaction to learn the webinar tool is always a good idea. The spontaneity and spirit of fun raised energy levels. Need fun stuff sprinkled throughout. Moderators can help this greatly. This helps a lot.

One of the really interesting ideas came from Allessandria Polizzi who is Group Manager for Accountant Training & Relations at Intuit. It's an interesting idea and something that can be applied in many other domains. Her role is to make sure that accountants are trained on the Quickbook products. They add legitimacy to the content.
