While training methods requiring a physical presence, such as in-person Instructor Led Training (ILT), have diminished with the digital shift, online employee training has flourished. As 2020 was wrapping up, LinkedIn revealed that 79% of L&D pros expect to spend more on online learning, while 73% foresaw spending less on ILT.

ILT follows a linear format. The point of it all, is that this negative trend skews the data out of the gate and your results on future depth will provide you with erroneous information, especially as part of a gap analysis for future learning and growth. Next Taleo got bought by Oracle. Not relevant to me and I do not care.

Oracle acquired Taleo who had acquired Learn.com and the list goes on. To save the day the cloud was invented and with it the significant fiscal barriers of entry for new LMS providers were removed. The cloud LMSs provide learning management to the masses. SAP acquired SuccessFactors who had acquired Plateau. eLogic Learning.

The other issue is that the people providing the information are also limited to what you have stated. You want a system that can interface/integrate with your ERP (SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle, Workday, etc.), The majority of systems today, have those set features in my example. I seriously doubt it. . And yeah, you can quote me on that.
