Because, ILT, on-site, was the only way, the main way to learn (excluding the guides nobody read) didn’t and still doesn’t offer that. I had 3D desks (for ILT), a gallery (which offered a lot of options), a bookstore (with e-commerce), and two additional levels. Not training. So, very cool.

I would estimate that there was a 60-40 split, still instructor led driven, but even a significant number of the ILT vendors were offering subsets or capabilities to turn their ILT into online via webinars or online courses.

Super potential, the show has always been ILT (which is still extremely popular in the UK), but there were LMS vendors there and a couple of e-learning, m-learning tools. As someone who is hardcore e-learning, I have to say it was not only pure genius for the ILT team building exercise, but the approach in general was very nice.
