I just came back from ASTD’s TechKnowledge conference in Las Vegas where I held a Creation Station on how to create a branching scenario in Captivate. Once everything is working properly, then you can add your content: the full text, images, audio, etc. But it is even more important that you first set it up properly in your mind.

Stock Image Sites. There are a dozens of stock image sites where you can buy low cost images. For elearning courses, you don’t need to buy the high resolution images. You can use the notes for your own preparation, but by leaving just images on the slides you can deliver a polished talk that has a lot more impact; you wont be reading the bullets (guaranteed Death by PowerPoint) and neither will the audience (who can become distracted). #2 Instead, put them into your Notes.

Not having an audio track at all can make it hard for audio learners to fully engage: having limited copy/text and full audio with images could make it a bit challenging for a highly visual reader.
