I believe there is a lot we can learn from the film industry and in particular the animation film industry. The magic of storyboards for me is that they allow everyone to collaborate as everyone can “see” what is being planned. In animation they always use storyboards to develop the story they want to tell.

And indeed, when Bourdain went back to cooking, he rapidly advanced up the ladder to become a chef. They are proud of their work. Experience is the best teacher.

The industrial age is in its death throes, making way for the unfolding of the network age. This is akin to when the Industrial Revolution overwhelmed the agrarian age. Industry won’t disappear, but about a third of all industrial companies probably will. What we are experiencing today is fundamental.
