Even though it’s still 100 degrees outside, all of the fun things about October are finally here. We’re now starting to see which football teams are actually good vs just a one-week fluke, a slew of new Oktoberfest beer selections have just shown up, and I just booked my trip to Las Vegas. That means it’s time to get ready for a chock-full week at DevLearn 2019!

Joe is in the house

This year we have some exciting things planned for our booth (Booth 231 near all of the other xAPI nerds), including a guest appearance by one of the world’s leading experts in SCORM, our Customer Success Manager, Joe Donnelly! By popular demand, Joe will be joining us and available to answer all of your SCORMy questions in person. So if you need help, or have worked with Joe over the years and want to finally meet him in person, now is your chance. Come on by and “Just Ask Joe” anything you want about SCORM, xAPI, or you can even just chat about the weather. Booth 231.

What’s in your learning stack?

We want to hear more about you and what plans and challenges you have when it comes to eLearning technology. Let’s talk about the tools in your ecosystem, how they work together (or don’t), and offer up some suggestions and strategies you can take back to the office after the conference. We’ve got the whiteboards ready and are excited to walk through your specific use case and happy to provide suggestions on how tools can best work together. Booth 231.

xAPI, of course

You’ll be hearing from us a couple of times during the week about various xAPI topics. You can find our fearless CEO, TJ Seabrooks at the xAPI Camp on Tuesday, October 22nd talking about the state of the eLearning standards in the industry. On Thursday, October 24th, TJ will be co-presenting a session with Rose Benedicks, Strategic Consulting Lead at our sister company, LEO Learning, Taking xAPI Profiles Further: Technical Implementation of the Profile Spec. And if you miss either of these sessions, we’re also happy to talk more about xAPI at our booth. Booth 231.

Products and partnerships

With our most recent Rustici Engine release, lots of new features came out including a prebuilt connector with the GO1 content marketplace and the ability to launch and track videos and PDFs. Come by and talk to us about these new features and more. You know the drill: Booth 231.

We know it can get crazy with all of the great sessions and vendors at the conference. If you’re a planner like me, we’re also setting up times to meet with people. So let us know if you want to plan ahead and set up a time with us during the conference. At, of course, Booth 231.

Look forward to seeing you in a few weeks! Booth 231.
