Somewhere between 4th and 8th grade formal education turned the switch of curiosity off to create the expectation that information is delivered to you. So, how do you reach those people with the valuable information that learning is the work and the work is learning? It got me thinking about how people get complacent in their job.

It’s common for Twitter chats to begin with everybody sharing what they’ve learned today, this week, etc. Twitter chats occur weekly or every other week though and learning never stops. Giving a place to reflect, learn, share what’s learned with the ability to retrieve the information later.

Closing Out 2014 With Learning Reflection

It’s a win-win if you go about it the right way and then there’s no loss of information. The initial move to a broader mobile audience had a lot of research saying that mobile apps and sites should only cover the most likely information to be used while mobile. I can’t think of a better way to spend a conference experience.
