Without getting into a lot of boring detail, trying to access this post and edit it on an iPad wasn’t working for me. Yep, cloud based too, but at least that program didn’t fight with my ipad, however it didn’t like my receipt scans. My proposal program is in the cloud. Grrrr, (cue head thunking on wall).

I read most of my business/L&D related books on my ipad using the the Kindle app. When away from my desk, my plan is to use voice notes on my phone to record into Evernote , which will sync to my ipad and then my laptop. (If Let me start here – gathering my reading notes has never really been an issue.

My ipad keeps telling that I don’t have enough memory to shoot regardless of what I delete. After 10 takes of my ipad shutting off at different stages and then realizing I didn’t bring a stand in order to shoot video on my iphone…Yep… Yet another Plan B. Another Plan B.

iPad with Logitech keyboard cover – I find I take notes faster and easier if I can type them. Notebook/Pen(s)/Highlighters: Sometimes you need to go old school. I usually carry a moleskin book which holds conference notes from other conferences as well. Sticky Notes: One can never have enough sticky notes. I keep my notes Google Docs.
