Earlier this year I questioned why there was Still No Flash on the iPhone and iPad. Well Captivate will produce HTML5 so that it can be run on an iPhone, iPad and everywhere else. It’s become quite clear that Apple (Steve Jobs) is going to block putting Flash on these platforms. What does this mean in practice?

Notetaking Tools Help Needed

iPhone Notes. Nice to be able to take notes on the iPhone and have that come across into the system. I don't need all my notes available to me on the iPhone. Right now, I'm leaning towards trying OneNote, but I'm concerned about Lock In and that I don't believe there's any iPhone support? Curious any thoughts?

iPad (and iPhone) are Much More Useful Than I Expected I didn’t actually think that I would care about the iPad except as a tool for training and performance support in environments like retail and restaurants where it’s always been an issue having access to machines. It provided high value for me and hopefully value for people reading it.

People want their content to work on iPhones and iPads right now. iPhones and iPads will be supported as an app - ugh. Do we believe it will help or hurt us around time of acquisition? Impact of iOS? All of the above is greatly impacted by the choice that Apple makes around iOS support. But we don't really have another choice for now.
