Mobile Learning. While it is true that some vendors are offering a mobile learning LMS, it is with limited features and honestly, no one I know really wants to take a course or view any type of LMS on a smart phone screen. A good vendor will have what is sort of called a “sniffer&# , whereas the solution can identify whether it is a Blackberry or Iphone or whatever and automatically switch to the appropriate product. Facebook Oculus recently announced they were creating two separate divisions, one for mobile the other with PC. I have tested an app ideal for an Android phone on the iPhone 6 and it worked fine (using Google Cardboard). . Mobile devices, specifically your smartphone or phablet or tablet. Most are free. A couple of vendors used their iPhones to scan, which I thought was clever. No geolocation for people’s iphones. Works on mobile devices, incl. Less vendors scanning people’s ID badges, which I found interesting. No wonder, the vendors never saw them. Surprised at the low number of LMS vendors here. Really shocking.
