In my experience, most people love tech tips and tools. With that in mind, I’ve been thinking about the best way to share some of the best tech tips and tools that I discover. For a long time, I’ve had a section in my weekly newsletter highlighting a few new tools each week. But I’ve always felt like it was lacking and that there was a better way. The challenge was finding that better way without eating a huge chunk of time putting it all together.
Over our recent holiday weekend, while looking at some automation and #NoCode tools for something else, an idea popped up for a way to highlight a lot more tech tools & tips. So this is the maiden voyage for that idea and the game plan is to do this as a 2nd weekly post every Tuesday.

I’m sure you’ve done this before but could you share a ‘snapshot’ of the tools you are currently using? I’d love to see what you’ve got supporting you.
I’m also very curious as to 1) how much time do you spend testing out and trying new tools and how do you balance that with your actual paid or income-generating work and, 2) how do you keep track of all these tools so you can find one when you want or need it? These are 2 of my biggest struggles and I’d really appreciate hearing how you deal with these issues.

I don’t have as much time as I’d like to try new things and I find them by following a few good sources in Feedly. ( http://www.feedly.com ) Those include sites like Product Hunt & Beta List as well as people like Nick Floro and Robin Good. That enables me to scan a lot of options and then check out the ones that look the most promising.
