I have created an online tutorial with simulation using Captivate (2019).  How do I post my publication into a platform like Teachable?  They accept .mp3, .mp4, .pdf., .png, .mov, .avi, .jpg.

I can also upload an url…but when I try to upload the index.html file – the screen is blank.

I’m new and have watched lots of videos and read lots of postings (thank you!!!) but I am stuck at the moment.

Can you please check the full version number under Help, About Captivate? It should be 11.0.1.266.

The formats you are mentioning are all non-interactive. Which type of Mode did you use  when recording the software simulation?  If it is Demo Mode you could publish to MP4, which is the passive video format. If you did use Training or Assessment Mode you wanted an interactive tutorial and have to publish to HTML5. Then you have to upload the folder to a webserver. You can then post the URL to the index.html file on the platform, and it  should be able to play the file, in its interactive form.  I will post a link to such an uploaded course in a separate comment to avoid waiting time for moderation.
