I have been mystified lately as I watch those applying for the most powerful leadership roles in the world and wonder, “What will we say to our grandchildren about what we learned and how we led in these times?” We need new leaders in public and civic leadership roles, just as we do for our businesses (and sometimes those are the same – business leaders become our civic leaders on chamber boards and in other ways).
