Massive open online courses are transforming learning technology. These courses are now used by professionals and more senior people to learn new topics as well. The MOOC industry began with a strong focus on excellent content and the delivery of a complete and integrated learning environment. Today’s educational startups serve both video-based content with ease and have the benefit of nearly 10 years of learning in collaboration software, online assessment software and high bandwidth access behind them. Our learning environments are pretty far behind.
