ATD 2016: How Docebo is leading the conversation around 70:20:10 model for online training platforms

It’s the final day of ATD 2016, and our team is plugging away visiting with as many conference attendees as we can. The level of feedback we’ve gotten from both clients who have been part of the Docebo family for years, as well as people who have never even heard of our platform has made an enormous contribution to the way we see our market.

That face-to-face connection with our peers and colleagues in the learning technology space is invaluable to the way we shape our products and company vision.

Leading the 70:20:10 conversation at ATD 2016

In terms of addressing the 70:20:10 learning model with an online training platform, Docebo was an early adopter. We’ve been discussing the benefits of the movement since we first announced development on our two new modules that address social and informal learning, Docebo Coach and Share, and we’ve partnered up with the best minds in our industry to share educational resources on the topic.

We believe that, at its core, the 70:20:10 learning model is the best way to modernize learning content and provide richer training experiences at the point of need while still respecting the need for more traditional means of learning via a flexible, robust learning management system.

Docebo is disrupting the way companies are using the LMS, but we know the traditional delivery of formal training material isn’t going away anytime soon. With that in mind, it’s important to note that keeping employees engaged using an online training platform doesn’t have to be difficult.

How can I adopt 70:20:10 with my online training platform?

Charles Jennings, who we’ve previously partnered with (along with Towards Maturity) to publish the popular report “70+20+10=100,” spoke yesterday at ATD on the work the 70:20:10 Institute is doing to redefine the future of Learning and Development with the 70:20:10 learning model.

Jennings understands and respects the way companies like Docebo are bringing the practical methodology of 70:20:10 to learning technology and online training platforms in particular.

There’s still plenty of time to connect with Docebo at ATD 2016

We’re still presenting live demos of Docebo’s social and experiential learning modules at ATD! While many of our neighbors in the expo hall may fade out in numbers throughout the day, we’ll be here until the expo hall closes to have the chance to connect with as many people as possible.

Whether you’re here with us in Denver or back home, our team would be happy to schedule a custom demonstration of Docebo mobile, as well as Coach and Share, two new modules that address social and informal learning. Contact our team to schedule a meeting today.
