think this could be the stepping stone between a rapid authoring tool and Flash (with a tool like Lectora somewhat in the middle). I just watched a great demo of Adobe’s new baby called Flash Catalyst. Catalyst lets you create interactive content without coding.nice! Watch the Flash Catalyst.

mentioned a few posts ago that we purchased Lectora, this is part of our e-learning strategy. So Lectora training is in a week’s time – we’re also about to launch a diversity initiative that has an associated website. integrate them into Articulate or Lectora, use them in Adobe Captivate.). In the Big Question launched by Tony Karrer this month , he wonders how we use Text-to-Speech (TTS) in our courses? He also reflects on budget and the combination of TTS and the text that can be shown, but I will only look at when and how I have been using TTS.

Lectora Inspire™ provides an integrated suite of tools to overcome these challenges. It's challenging to minimize the number of authoring tools required for e-Learning production and to. streamline the process, especially for a team when not all of them have skills in Flash, graphics, and. design.

Lectora. As the evolution of e-learning continues, the rapid content authoring tools (RCAT) market follows suit. This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. Sure, there are quite a few RCATs, fee based that are very impressive, there are an equal number that are unimpressive or bewildering.

As we network with newer Lectora developers, we are often asked to clarify the use of variables in the tool. As a reminder, variables within Lectora hold key pieces of information that you can later refer to and act upon. My next few posts will attempt to provide a primer on using Lectora variables to accomplish a few basic tasks.

I'm still wiggling my way through the ins and outs of Lectora. The Lectora support team has been very helpful. But once you start doing advanced techniques such as using flash to set Lectora variables, the preview will not work. Tags: Lectora I've discovered some things I'd like to share. Limitations on built-in preview.

Lectora has some basic math functionality you can use to add, subtract, multiply, and divide variables. For now, we'll stick with what Lectora has built in. You should be familar with Lectora. Create a page in Lectora. First, create a blank project in Lectora or create a new page in an existing project. Value: 12.
