First-time LUC attendee? This blog post is for you! We’re sharing everything you need to know to make the most of your trip to the 2016 Lectora® User Conference. And if you’ve attended the LUC before, give this post a skim to make sure you’re ready too. Maybe you have a foolproof way of taking notes at breakout sessions or a networking secret—please share your tips with our new attendees in the comments! Here are 7 ways to make the most of your trip to the LUC 2016:

  1. Attend as many sessions as you can.

You mean attend everything? Yes—even the last breakout sessions of the day are worth your time. We’ve packed the LUC schedule not only with valuable breakout sessions, but also great sessions like Trivantis®: What’s New & What’s Upcoming (think LUC-exclusive sneak peeks you don’t want to miss).

  1. Don’t miss our keynote speaker, Laura Overton.

Laura Overton, the Founder and CEO of Towards Maturity, will share practical insights that have been gleaned from the world’s top-performing organizations. In her keynote, you’ll discover how you can design learning that engages the new, modern learner and wins the hearts and minds of business leaders. You’ll take home bright new ideas for your courses, your training programs, and your future.

  1. Lunch is your time to refuel AND make friends.

Need a conversation starter? Try Lectora—we think you’ll have a few things in common with other conference attendees. Take a seat with someone from one of your breakout sessions. Each year, new friendships are created at the LUC, so have fun!

  1. Sign up for a One-on-One session ahead of time.

If you have something specific that you’re working on in Lectora, and you want to ask an expert, you can sign up for a short One-on-One session with our development team. Don’t wait too long though—if you know you have a question, be sure to snag a One-on-One right away. Keep an eye out for an email on signing up for a One-on-One. You can also attend Ask the Experts for a Q&A in a group setting.

  1. Join us for the Networking Reception!

On Wednesday evening, we’re having a Networking Reception for all LUC attendees. It’s a great (and enjoyable) way to make connections with Lectora users the first night of the conference. There will be games and refreshments to help break the ice!

  1. Have questions? Ask a Trivantis team member.

Whether you’re looking for a session room, or you just want to know what’s for lunch, you can ask us! Look for a Trivantis team member (often spotted wearing a navy or white Trivantis polo), or stop by the Registration Desk in the Las Olas Foyer. We’re always happy to help! Plus, we love chatting with you.

  1. Share your LUC experience on social media.

Tweet @Lectora and use #BrightIdeas for all your amazing LUC experiences. Inspiring Lectora ideas, great networking, and pictures with your favorite eLearning people—share it all on social.

We can’t wait to see you in Fort Lauderdale! Still need to register? Reserve your spot at LUC 2016 now.
