SkillSoft recently (about 3 weeks back) announced the launch of inGenius. This social learning layer will integrate with SkillSoft's Book 24X7, a vast repository of technical and IT-related literature that many organizations use as off-the-shelf content to enable their employees. eLearning Technology , while applauding the effort SkillSoft is making to integrate Social Learning, does criticize the fact that they are tying this to SkillSoft and to books as learning resources. Biz Library. There are few and I mean only a few who follow this pattern (example: Skillsoft), where the course library is the primary and the system secondary.  The second way, is you can purchase the LMS without buying their (Biz Library) courses.   If you just want the LMS, then the best fit IMO is SMB (Small to mid-size business).  If you go the primary route, courses #1, LMS included, then any market will work. No, it is when people looking for systems assume that every LMS follows the module approach.  Welcome, welcome all! Some would call that vapor.

Hmm, let’s see NetG (back in the day), Skillsoft, Playback Media (not the new one out there, but another one – may the rest in peace), a few other shops and Rosetta Stone (yes, that Rosetta Stone).
