He preceded me in the use of Creative Commons licensing, but from his example (and Harold Jarche), I placed a BY – NC – SA license in the side bar. Now, the license I mentioned means three things I ask for. Fast forward to today, and I get alerted by a colleague (thanks, Martin!) attribution).

I’m all for self-driving vehicles, because the alternative is pretty bad (tho’ could we do better in driver training or licensing, like in Germany?). And, philosophically, I agree with those who have stated that we must own the responsibility to choose what we take on and what we outsource.

Worse, when you do go online, you’d have to known to record the license plate state and number to be able to pay! Of course there’s a fine if you don’t pay, but there’s no way to pay except through a long URL that’d be hard to get exactly right. This seems designed for the sheer purpose to get more fees.

Webinar Software - Adoption Advice

We are looking into a contract where we have to purchase a minimum of five licenses for the platform. It doesn't have any bells and whistles like web cam compatibility or video streaming, online polling, white boards or anything cool like that. We are considering moving to other products such as Adobe Connect.

Measuring the right things

The bad news : they were measuring things like percentage of teachers who’d put up a web page (using the district’s licensed software), and the use of the district’s electronic grading system. And they were measuring the tech skills. And their professional development didn’t include support for revising lesson plans.
