I consider LinkedIn Answers to be quite a different animal. LinkedIn Answers is limited in time and does not create any kind of sustained conversation.

Hasn't eBay had social networking features for a long time? all have a social networking aspect to them? how is this new? Granted they are being enhanced, but still.

Expert Level Answers via Social Networks

One of the interesting points raised via the discussion: If you can get an expert level answer by asking for help through social networks how does that compare to being an expert? I regularly use LinkedIn for Finding Expertise and Searching for Expertise - LinkedIn Answers. I welcome your thoughts.
