Some products including Articulate Studio and Storyline use the Microsoft SDK PowerPoint ribbon as their main ribbon. For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. You also can purchase instructor led courses from Microsoft to Adobe to Hardware and OS, programming, etc. It enables you to upload PPT onto the iPad and present it to people – on the floor, at a location, etc. Thus you can have on-site training.

Microsoft Office 365 Skills – People are working from home, they are using their own computers, and thus their own products. Any verbal communication will likely come via one of these apps or thru Zoom or similar, which thus requires skills around the team, building rapport, eye contact, facial expressions, and so on.

How many people create courses in PPT and just upload it? If you haven’t heard the latest news, one of the founders was fired, and went over to create a new AI lab at Microsoft (as a separate company). Now cross-reference that over a time period of one year, with data for each month.

Let’s see Microsoft has only been announcing the coming of Windows 8 for several months, but as usual desktop authoring tools are behind the times. I am hearing from some vendors that they are having issues with Windows 8 and that Microsoft typically makes it difficult to really make it work. Of those: 45 are SaaS based.

Transitions, Animations, Views – I am fine using it once, but again, new product-new version, so why I am still seeing PowerPoint within this product to such a point, that TAV are exactly the same as in PPT? View – I’m getting a headache – did you have to Microsoft to include all this stuff? Repeat PowerPoint.

PowerPoint still reigns – If you are a course purist, the idea that PPT should be seen as an authoring tool should make you grumble with disgust. . Strange, since I could find no evidence, no information from multiple research standpoints, that Microsoft pitches it an authoring tool. PowerPoint is presentation software.
