M-Learning: Where’s the app for that?

eLearning 24-7

With all these vendors talking about their solution and its capabilities on mobile devices, it should be easy to find an app for that. Regardless if the vendor is m-learning specific, content authoring tool, LMS, web conferencing or a hybrid.  It shouldn’t matter. If your telling me your solution is mobile ready, then all I should need to do is go iTunes or Android and find your app.  Nowadays more and more vendors (thankfully) are seeing the benefit of mobile devices. Thus they can advertise they offer mobile learning. Blackboard Learn?

Times are changing – trends in the content authoring tool market

eLearning 24-7

Latest E-Learning Trends – Some good, some bad

eLearning 24-7

trend that is happening in the LMS market more so than in the other e-learning markets, is the failure to follow their path of success. I am seeing many vendors whose products were built for SMB (and more aligned on the lower side of mid size companies) who are now pushing into the mid/upper mid to large size customer band.   The problem here is that they developed a solution that is not made for 10,000 or more end users. love this trend, because it clearly says that the rapid content authoring tool vendors are becoming innovative and are seeing the market.
