Yesterday, I saw what Rapid Intake is doing with their tools to allow authoring of Mobile Learning - what they call mLearning Studio. The mobile version allows you to compose mobile learning courses using the same authoring system. You choose templates, add text, images, audio, video and quizzes, then publish for web and mobile.

LMS Tracking of Podcasts and Video Casts

You can put the audio or video inside a SCORM course and load it into an LMS. Not playing it back on their disconnected mobile device. They currently provide some podcasts and video casts, but would like to track the new content that is being developed now. It seems like this should be an obvious question.

Where does SCORM fit into the picture? Should we demand that our product support SCORM? And add into the mix, mobile delivery. In terms of SCORM, Almost always the answer is yes, authoring tools need to support it. But don't most tools support SCORM at this point? Should we support Flash? Bill, I hear you.
