I will be leaving to Berlin to attend the online Educa after I have finished this post. We share this booth with our friends of ANewSpring, ur german partner ILT will join us and I represent LINGOs at the online Educa. I don’t like the standard setup of expos as the online Educa. It’s 650 kilometers drive.

In Berlin I met with Christopher Benz (he is in charge of online events of the ELearning guild) and we spoke about the differences of an eLearning guild conference (like Learning Solutions and DevLearn) and the online Educa. I’m sorry to say that I’m not a big fan.

At the online Educa in Berlin Willem Manders and Hans de Zwart facilitated a workshop on the future of learning organizations. For starters it was the most complex online setup I ever participated in, with a central part and four separate groups. They both work For Shell. It was an interesting exercise.

She promised to put her presentation online on her website. She is one of the people that has to leave out a lot of stuff, because they only have 75 minutes and she is a good and funny presenter. Her main massage was: Involve the learners in the design, not only in the evaluation. She has a ton of tips (see mind map).
