It’s kinda simplistic, but I think it may help to differentiate personalized and adaptive learning. I’ve seen different definitions, and one has adaptive as a subset of personalized, but I’m going a different way.

The last time I had a beard was right before college graduation. I was off in the wilderness, and when I came back my razor was busted.
