Randy Stewart shot this photo of me at Gnomedex , and I feel it captures a lot of what I’m about. Randy’s photo captured me breathing in the lessons of Gnomedex and trying to mash them up with enterprise learning. The VIA tells you what turns you on, not necessarily what you’ve good at.

Goodbye, Flickr

My usual routine is to upload a day’s photos in the evening and add comments while my memories are fresh. On my recent travels in Italy, the UK, and the Netherlands, I frequently could not upload any photos to Flickr at all. I just discovered that Flickr will not accept my photos in portrait mode, only in landscape.

The Heinz Ketchup Case Study

Sometimes I can only upload two or three photos at a time. The uploader apparently can’t recognize some of my photos–they show as black and won’t upload. I’m on the lookout for something that will work for my 30,000 photos. I have been unable to upload portrait-mode photographs since the new look came in.
