These are great replacements for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at a much more affordable price. It’s the tool I use for editing SVG characters like in this Twine scenario. I use Affinity Photo as well, often switching between the two depending on which tools I need. I use SnagIt all the time for quick screenshots.

Use brushes or filters in Photoshop. Use styles in Word for a consistent look. Create handouts in PowerPoint. Create folders to organize Outlook. Use filters to be more efficient with email. Edit out noise in Audacity. Assign tasks to team members in a project management tool (Microsoft Project, Basecamp, etc.).
