For example, you could take a group of images and add a one pixel border to each, make the images 200×200 pixels and change the file format from JPG to PNG. In Snagit for Windows select Convert Images under the Snagit button and select the images you would like to convert.

Snagit is my favorite screen capture tool because of its versatility as an image and video capture software. To record a webinar using Snagit, first download the application. Follow the installation instructions, and when the process is complete, Snagit will open. Then, in Snagit, select the Video tab. Edit and Save.

We’ve been asked by Mary, one of our Snagit customers, how to remove the black color from her logo background so she can overlay the image on other colored backgrounds. Choose Snagit ball > Save As. PNG vs JPG. Two of the most common formats: PNG vs JPG. The main benefits of JPG and PNG: JPG uses lossy compression, compromising some quality, but making the file size smaller and more easily shared. PNG files support transparency, and are lossless (necessary if there is still editing to be done on the file).

Once I have some of that set, I add the mouse PNG to a track above the images. For those that use Adobe Illustrator, you can download the graphic source file for the Snagit for Chrome tutorial here. Starting with my first scene, I add the images, one-by-one to the timeline. And whenever I need the mouse to move, I drop in an animation.

With the black and white image open in Snagit Editor, select File > Save As. Close the image in Snagit Editor. Close the image in Snagit Editor then reopen it. Here are several more things you can do with your image mask: Save the image as a PNG file when you have the look you desire. Give the file a name. Click Save.
