Another way to get the text into your slide is by reading it out loud to transcribe it and insert into your slide. Use PowerPoint to Transcribe Text for HTML5 E-Learning. The new version of PowerPoint has a dictate feature. PowerPoint transcribes the text and adds it to the slide. Then you make your edits.

Think about it: if you’re presenting to a live audience, there’s no point having a slide like this one – a bunch of bullets with loosely connected images: It doesn’t look professional, the visuals don’t mean anything, and your audience can’t read and listen at the same time, so they’ll probably tune you out as your read through the bullet points.

This is fine until you need to make a change to the slide and the colors aren’t updating when you change the theme color. Our template developers have a simple technique to check the theme colors and make sure that they’re used throughout the various template slides. Everything on the slide should be bright yellow.

My initial inclination was to build something in PowerPoint or Google slides, but I switched to Rise 360 and haven’t looked back. Creating the presentation in Rise 360 is just as fast as creating a slide. With Rise 360, I spend less time constructing the layout because I’m not starting with an empty slide.
