Hi All,

I need your help,

I have created entire project in ppt with good animation and background images. While converting or importing slides into elearning module the background image is getting resizied. I tried solving problem but nothing is available in Internet or blogs about this issue.

I am attaching the published zip, have look and let me know.

Kind Regards,

Mohamed ThanveerPlay

Hi Lieve, Thank you for wonderful solution. The problem was with PPT file, I copy pasted slides to newer ppt file it worked. I have time limitation and constraints, that’s the reason i have built the presentation in PPT and exported it cpt. finally it worked.

Which resolution did you choose for the Captivate project? Did you accept the proposed size in px, ,which is calculated from the size set up in PPT?

Never use PPT import to create real eLearning courses, that is my first recommendation. There are several reasons for this tip which is based on many years of experience with both. Use PPT for a presentation, led by a presenter. Use Captivate for real e-Learning courses, meant to be taken by learners without a teacher/trainer and having as much interactivity as possible.

I don’t know if you use the most recent version which is 11.0.1.266? Do you perhaps try to create a responsive project or is it a non-resposnive project?

It can be clearly seen that, Your answer took more hardwork than the person asked the question…. yet he seems to be not bothered to even reply also??

At least 50% of the users asking questions never come back to read the answer or to give feedback. It seems mus more common on this portal than on the older Adobe Jive forums. I have been looking for reasons. One of them could be that they do not get notifications about the comments. That IS the case on the Jive forums. I don’t have to screen every item. Another reason may be the moderation which can take a lot of time. On Jive I am moderator and lof of ACP’s as well which leads to a minimal moderation time 7/7 and 24/24.
