You can imagine how happy i was when i was told my first project was to sort out the ‘On-boarding’ what On-boarding i asked?? This means communicating the new process & getting project managers to take more ownership. But we do it anyway. Unfortunately not. I’m one month into my new job. What have we got? The gap.

Lots of bumps and hiccups along the way meant i only really got my hands dirty on one project. am now back in L&D managing learning projects for my employer’s transformation project in Eastern Europe. And i feel like i’m home again! But things have changed for the better ! Yay for comebacks

Just read a great post on tips for managing e-learning projects: [link]. One of the things that really worked for us with our last big e-learning project were daily 5 minute ‘huddles’ At the beginning of the day my team would gather for a brief on how the day before had gone, any major issues or hiccups and plans for the day.

Part of my role here at work is to put a bit of structure into our e-learning development process. So i have been working on an e-Learning Methodology Toolkit – basically a set of documents and templates that will help my team structure the way they work – improving the overall analysis, design and deliverables we produce !

Preview the project. Keyboard shortcuts are a great way to boost productivity. While most of the keyboard shortcuts are listed besides the menu items in Cp5, there are few which are hidden underneath. Here is a list of some of those shortcuts. Editing shortcuts. Shortcut key. Action. Ctrl + I (Win), Command + I (Mac). Decrease magnification.

Project cache in Adobe Captivate 5 helps you save and open projects faster. When you create a project in Adobe Captivate 5, a corresponding project cache folder is automatically created. This folder is saved in the project cache root folder specified in the project Preferences.

For a project manager, the key to a successful project is building, communicating and executing a “shared vision with your team. The project’s vision is the expectation of what the deliverable will be. Team members come to the project with their individual perspectives. Well, think of it like a funnel.

The seats I've pointed out are those of people on the same project. Yes I understand that "Learning Consultants" and "Technical Consultants" can't always sit at the table because they have their fingers in many different projects. Given that your overall design is simple and modular, most projects can do without these overheads.
