Brilliant backchannel tweeting: what to do during an event

Provide the title of the session, the Twitter handle of the speaker if possible, and a very brief summary of what to expect (if the title doesn’t provide that itself). Take advantage of any visuals provided. Okay, you may need two opening, context-setting tweets…!

Providing text with verbatim audio is not detrimental to learning; providing there is an option to switch the audio off (and perhaps also an option to hide the text), it only offers the benefit of giving learners a little more control over their learning experience.
