My argument was that well-designed formal interventions can extend beyond the confines of the course to include elements that would normally be regarded as 70 or 20 in the 70:20:10 model or experiential , on-demand or non-formal in the model I present in The New Learning Architect. A learning cohort becomes just another PeopleCloud group.

In the UK at least we have in the past made a clear distinction between the LMS and the virtual learning environment (VLE). are for corporates who want to manage all (or at least all formal) aspects of their learning and development. LMSs (Saba, SumTotal, SkillPort, etc.) Interesting times.

Moodle: Who ever thought I'd own my own virtual learning environment? Blogger: I didn't choose my blogging tool, I just took the easy option and used the one that Google provided. Cubase absolutely eats up processor power, hard disks and memory, giving me the perfect excuse to buy the world's most powerful PCs.
