The buy was a bad relationship in the making, one where the owner – “Skillsoft” and ownee “SumTotal” never seemed to get on track with one another. That’s it.

I’m forced to see licorice candies in my JuJufruits- I swear the ratio is 20 to 1, with these things, but I do not have to enjoy them – during movie days, I would toss them on the ground, so the next patron can step in them. SumTotal (Learning Management) – $$$ to $$$$. Actually, SumTotal’s is far worse.

The ratios are poor as a whole. A troubling trend because when you think about, how can a learning system target L&D professionals and L&D executives, and yet they themselves either do not have a leadership development program themselves (data to be presented in our report) or that the ratio of male to females is of real concern. .

SumTotal Learning Management – They have come a long way. I readily admit for the longest time I was not a fan of SumTotal, but that was then, this is now. I’d like to see more on the administration side, and while the system is top tier, to me it is still missing some data visualization tied to extensive metric data.

SumTotal for example did a nice revamp, but their reporting is super outdated. I look at a lot of data when it comes to support, including ratios – # of tickets to customers (on avg), follow-up time (during business hours) for initial call, then on-going follow-ups, number of support staff, and so forth. Jasper has to go. .
