Aide RSS Filtering Tool

Tony Karrer

AideRSS looks at a variety of sources of information including comments, technorati, bloglines, icerocket and del.icio.us to determine what posts are generating the most interest. It provides a widget that allows you to show your top posts for month or year. You can see what it thinks are mine in the right column of the blog.

Google Blog Search Problems

Tony Karrer

Unfortunately, it looks like Google Blog Search has decided that they will now include the entire contents of the web page rather than just the contents of the RSS feed. I want a nice clean RSS feed of any posts that include links to my various sites. This completely defeats my purpose. Time to evaluate my options?

Feed Filters

Tony Karrer

I had previously discussed the Aide RSS Filtering Tool - AideRSS looks at a variety of sources of information including comments, technorati, bloglines, icerocket and del.icio.us It would be fairly easy for them to provide a view of a set of RSS feeds sorted by "interestingness" based on a similar formula.

Commenting Self-Audit

Experiencing eLearning

With tracking and an RSS feed, I can keep track of it all much more easily. Technorati Tags: comment08 , conversation , blogging , comments. There’s no way I’d comment as much as I do if I wasn’t tracking them. Do you tend to comment at the same blogs or do you try to comment on at least one new blog per week?
