Other fun tidbits AICC was the leader here, then came SCORM. Still in existence Saba – Today? Saba – was the first vendor to tap into machine learning, with TIM. That’s right, there wasn’t too many providers that had the courses on their servers and sent them via an API. Yet, very popular.

Ditto when you buy a system that is SCORM 1.2 I wouldn’t touch the Saba solution, which has another alphabetical salad of letters, because CBX is significantly better. I’m not a fan of the size caps when it comes to SCORM files – it makes no sense, nor the limit of bulk upload per number of entries.

No Cornerstone OnDemand at the show – that was really surprising, especially since they push Learning Cloud; No Saba, again they are really pushing folks to Saba Cloud, and have stated their commitment to Learning. SCORM support – mmmm. NO SCORM or any course standard. Vendor Time – Vendor Time.

Those that don’t are due to: Your tool works only with SCORM 2004 3rd edition, and your LMS only accepts AICC. Facility management. Well Known Systems. Market themselves effectively.

Anyway, social exists in the platform, along with a built in authoring tool and the system is SCORM course standard. . While I place Saba in the average spot, I do think Learning@Work is heading in the right direction (cloud based platform). . SCORM yes – AICC? One last item to mention.
