Don’t use AI unsupervised!

You probably can’t anticipate them all, but you can do a representative sample. For instance, you might put policies and procedures into a system, but then test the answers across a suite of potential questions. Similarly, don’t trust content or questions generated by AI. We can do one or the other, but not both.

My better half recently got a sample of special butter. A gift from a co-worker (an interesting story), and led me to reflect on the link between passion and learning. M’lady’s co-worker is a fan of good butter. We did a tasting between the ordinary butter we ordinarily purchase and this special butter.

So for the first one, they wanted some feedback on their design, and we arranged that I’d investigate a representative sample and provide feedback. There were also some places where they’d managed to have some errors that had passed editorial (and this was only a small sample of a replicated model across a broad curriculum).

Ideally, with your sample population. While the next step is arguably better, in the real world you want a scrutable approach but one that gets you moving forward the fastest. Finally, you test. If science and theory can’t provide the answer, you either wing it, but it’s better if you set up an experiment.
