When I first joined Rustici Software, SCORM Cloud was just starting to gain traction. I remember the excitement when we hit the magical 100th SCORM Cloud paying customer mark. Around that time, I was on ‘Team Cloud’ and got to know a few of the early adopters pretty well, including Bret Weinraub from Aura Software. He was one of the first to use our SCORM Cloud WordPress plugin to build out a learning platform. During that integration and all along the way, Bret has provided some really valuable feedback and suggestions that have helped us shape SCORM Cloud.

Fast forward to today and both SCORM Cloud and Aura have grown up quite a bit! SCORM Cloud now has over 1,000 paying customers and delivers more than 2MM course launches registrations each month. As we have grown, so too has Aura and it’s more really exciting to see where they have taken the SCORM Cloud API in their products—specifically the Bright eLearning Platform. The evolution of Bright is so remarkable that we had to completely revamp our previous case study. Bright has become a robust and flexible learning application that leverages a plugin architecture to connect SCORM Cloud to just about any application. Whether it’s WordPress, Drupal or another CMS, the constant is that SCORM Cloud is still running behind the scenes to handle all of the details when it comes to handling SCORM and other standards-based content.

When we first introduced the SCORM Cloud API over 10 years ago, this is exactly the vision we had in mind. We wanted people to imagine ways to deliver learning beyond traditional LMS methods. So when we see customers like Bright who have taken this idea and made it a reality, we can’t help but celebrate and share the results!

Tammy knew what SCORM was several years before joining Rustici Software, and she’s not even a standards geek. She’s the Managing Director and leads our company with a passionate commitment to caring for our people and customers. She’s also an Iron(wo)Man many times over.
